Muhlenbergia reverchonii (Seep Muhly 'Rosy')

Also called Rose Muhly.

Seep Muhly is a heat and drought-tolerant, warm season perennial bunch grass. It has attractive foliage and fall seed plumes. Seed plumes and foliage turn tawny brown in the winter. Seep Muhly resembles a less pink, slightly smaller, inland version of Gulf Muhly. It can tolerate heavier clay soils than most muhly grasses and can handle wet conditions a bit better than Gulf Muhly.

'Rosy' nativar is a compact selection of Seep Muhly.
